When children look at their friends they begin to notice the similarities, and the differences which make them who they are. Self-portraits are a great way for children for children to explore their identity and individuality, and to notice similarities and differences in hair colour, eye colour, expressions, emotions and so much more. This also helps children appreciate their differences, as well as the differences of others, building both a sense of identity and a sense of belonging. Our creative children at KOTA created some lovely self-portraits to showcase their bright and beautiful selves!
